Excellent recording of an excellent formation.
Gossip starts with an early version of Mike's version
of Jean-Pierre as it appeared later on
Standards (and other songs),
in Original Rays a superb Michael Brecker plays his
electronic wind instrument, a saxophone-synthesizer.
Of course the other musicians get their solo's as well,
in particular the ones of Joey Calderazzo are worth mentioning.
Great support work by the rhythm section.
Excellent sound quality.
