Sadly, Bob Berg recently died in a car accident, at the age of 52. On the discography-page alone they are listed as playing together on some twenty albums, and consider that an incomplete listing. There's an memorial page on-line, and a gallery of pictures of Bob Berg in concert with Miles Davis and Mike Stern, at the 1985 Berkely Jazz Festival, to commemorate his death.

A few (tentative and confirmed) tour dates for 2003 are known.

Long time no hear, but coming back with the message that Mike's found a new label. No details yet, as not everything has been decided, but suffice it to say he's got a choise of offers.

February '02

A series of European spring tour dates has been added. Tips might be the past Iridium show, where he played Play (about 30 minutes...), then Jones Street, Still There, and Linc.
The International Herald Tribune has an article about Mike's trouble with his label Atlantic Jazz.
The Guitar Instructional Video can be bought on-line at Hudson Music (Europe only).

No update in a long time, I see. Well, you should know that Mike's been nominated for a grammy award in the category of best contemporary jazz. The voting will take place sometime in february. The tour dates have been updated as well.
